Community Tagalongs
Some of our children's most difficult experiences occur outside the home. This may be due to overstimulation, changes in routine, and speedy transitions between locations. Community Tagalongs may take two forms:
Individual trips (Phase 1): Develop a plan with a speech-language pathologist prior to the trip, whether it's the grocery store or a restaurant. Receive real-time support.
Group trips (Phase 2): Make it a social outing! The Social House will organize group trips for children (and their caregivers) who want to practice with friends in the community.
